5^th Conference of the Ecumenical Patriarchate for Pastoral Health Care

The recent Pandemic has brought on new circumstances and challenges that have affected all aspects of our society. This prompts us to immediately exam the care that various agents play in their efforts to minister to Mankind and how this care is incorporated into the life of the Church. It also rekindles the need for professionals and providers, who serve in Health and in other fields, to join together so as to form a source of spiritual support and solidarity that will enable them to continue providing to those they serve in an effective and substantial way. These needs bring forth a vital question regarding the future. Where is our world going and what is our role as members of the Body of Christ in this changing society?

With the blessings of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, these needs and this vital question will be addressed at the 5^th Conference of the Ecumenical Patriarchate for Pastoral Health Care that will take place between the 5^th and 9^th of October on the island of Rhodes. The theme of the Conference will be “Ministering to Mankind today, we care for the Mankind of tomorrow”.

On Behalf of His All-Holiness, we invite you to take part in this, the 5^th Conference of Rhodes. Your presence will be a great asset to the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s effort in cultivating a spirit of oneness and solidarity in its diakonia to all Mankind. Your knowledge and experience will also contribute to the formation of a higher quality of care and philanthropy.
