When the sense of God’s presence and the sense of Man is absent

Recently, the City Council of Washington D.C. decided to allow doctors to prescribe drugs that would help patients with terminal illnesses end their lives. After this decision, Sister Constance Veit, Communications Director of the “Little Sisters of the Poor”, who lives in America’s capitol, remarked that it is just disappointing to realize that the sense of the presence of God and the sense of man, that comes when one has a proper sense of the presence of God, has been lost to a great extent in our society.
