Panteleimon Healthcare Society Conference 2023
The 2023 St. Panteleimon Healthcare Society Conference will be held this year on August 25-6 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Nashville, Tennessee. The society is for all Orthodox health care (nurses, pharmacists, dentists, optometrists, physical therapists, physicians, etc.) and mental health care providers. The society is the Metropolis of Detroit chapter of the Network of Pastoral Healthcare of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. The speaker this year will be Elizabeth Hawkins, a chaplain at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She primarily serves patients, their family and staff on the neuro-oncology service and as a liaison to the Quality of Life (palliative care) team.
